Automobile engine

Engine, motor is a machine that can convert other forms of energy into mechanical energy, including internal combustion engines (gasoline engines, etc.), external combustion engines (Stirling engines, steam engines, etc.), electric motors, etc. For example, internal combustion engines usually convert chemical energy into mechanical energy. The engine applies to both the power generating device and the entire machine including the power device. The engine was first born in England, so the concept of engine also comes from English. Its original meaning refers to the “mechanical device that generates power.”

The body is the skeleton of the engine and the installation basis for the various mechanisms and systems of the engine. All the main parts and accessories of the engine are installed inside and outside it, and it bears various loads. Therefore, the body must have sufficient strength and rigidity. The engine block is mainly composed of cylinder block, cylinder liner, cylinder head, cylinder gasket and other parts.

The working principle of the engine is divided into 4 stroke parts: intake stroke, compression stroke, power stroke, and exhaust stroke. FAW-Volkswagen Star maintenance specialist pointed out that in winter, the engine oil, brake oil and antifreeze in the engine compartment should be checked frequently to see whether the oil is sufficient, whether it has deteriorated, and whether it is time for replacement. These oils are like the blood of your car. The replacement cycle must be replaced to ensure smooth oil circulation.

The common engines in our daily lives are the engines in cars; they are divided into gasoline engines and diesel engines according to different fuels. This kind of engine is generally composed of “two major mechanisms and five major systems”, namely, crank connecting rod mechanism, valve train, fuel supply system, starting system, cooling system, lubrication system, and ignition system. The diesel engine does not have an ignition system. It burns itself under high temperature and pressure by injecting fuel into the combustion chamber in the form of high-pressure mist.
