As the saying goes, “Repair is 30%, maintenance is 70%!” This saying is quite true. Many cars develop a series of problems because of delayed maintenance. Today, let’s share the maintenance cycle for cars.
Filters:
Air Filter: Every 20,000 km or 1 year, or every 10,000 km or 1 year. This depends on the quality of the filter.
Cabin Cabin Air Filter: Every 10,000 km or 1 year.
Fuel Filter: Every 60,000 km or 2 years.
Oil Filter: Must be replaced at every maintenance.

Fluids: Engine oil: First service at 3000 km or 6 months.
Regular mineral oil: Change every 5000 km or 6 months.
Semi-synthetic oil: 7500 km or 6 months.
Fully synthetic oil: ① Naturally aspirated cars: 10,000 km or 12 months. ② Turbocharged cars: 5000 km.
Transmission fluid: ① Manual transmission: Every 2 years or 60,000 km. ② Automatic transmission: 40,000 km.
Coolant: Every 2 years or 40,000 km.
Brake fluid: 60,000 km or when the instrument panel malfunction indicator light illuminates.
Power steering fluid: Every 2 years or 30,000 km, or when the instrument panel malfunction indicator light illuminates.
Air conditioning refrigerant (134a): Top up, or every 2 years.

Spark plugs: Standard: Replace every 20,000-30,000 kilometers.
Platinum: Replace every 40,000 kilometers.
Iridium: Replace every 60,000-80,000 kilometers.

Tires: Rotate tires front and rear every 10,000 kilometers.
Replace tires worn to the tread limit.
Replace tires with sidewall bulges or scratches.
Tire pressure is indicated on the vehicle’s nameplate (engine compartment, near the B-pillar, inside the fuel filler cap).
Summer tire pressure: 2.0 MPa; Winter tire pressure: 2.5 MPa.
Dynamic balance issues: Steering wheel slippage, decreased driving comfort, vehicle bounce, abnormal tire wear.
Brake pads worn to the limit (abnormal braking noise).
Minimum wear thickness is 2mm; instrument panel malfunction indicator light illuminates.

Timing belt, ordinary rubber, 100,000 km.
Chain, 200,000 km.
